Fake a Clear, Even Complexion in One Step with Clinique's CC Cream

I've been an avid user of BB creams for the last couple of years and have really liked how they help minimize my pores and make my skin look overall smoother.  Lately, though, I've been hearing more and more about CC creams, aka color correcting creams, and was super curious to find out how these creams would stack up against BB creams.  Luckily, the Vogue Influencer Network sent me Clinique's new Moisture Surge CC cream to try.

Clinique is one of my favorite makeup brands because it never causes any irritation to my skin and their products always live up to their claims and, I'm happy to report that this one was no exception. I noticed a difference in my skin right away.

Since this CC cream doubles as a sunscreen, I just applied it directly to my skin.  My skin looked much more even and natural.  It was very light on my skin, but still provided great coverage.  This CC cream gave me a soft, pretty glow, perfect for summer when you want a more effortless appearance.  It makes your skin look naturally healthy and you really can't tell that you are wearing any makeup.  A huge bonus is that you can skip concealer and foundation, which cuts down time on your makeup routine.  Compared to BB creams, I would say Clinique's CC cream is lighter and offers a subtler, but still polished finish.  This CC cream blends seamlessly into skin and is almost a perfect match to skin tone.  In my experience, BB creams don't seem to adjust as well to skin color.

This CC cream is going to be a summer staple for me because I can finally get that clear complexion without piling on a bunch of products.
