Winter Beauty Trends!

Trend 1:

Vamp Those Lips!
Nothing can make a statement more than a woman’s lipstick. Luckily this season many designers have used that vampire lips look. Not only does the strong color give lips a full, luscious vibe, but it compliments all different skin tones. You can wear the lipstick using shades from orange, red,  burgundy and even dark purple ones.  It all depends on how dark you dare to go.

Trend 2:

Be Dramatic!
I love the fabulous looks with drastic shades and lines.  The classic 60s glamorous winged eye liner is my favorite right now.  You could even do smokey eyes with a sweep of metallic shades.

Trend 3:

Go Nude!
This trend never leaves the catwalk. It’s a fashionable and simple look that can be worn every day and it you don't need to be a makeup artist to achieve it. The challenge is in making it radiant using the right colors that suit your skin tone. Remember to pick the right foundation, use minimal mascara and eye shadow, subtle pink blusher, a moisturizing satin lipstick and you’re good to go.

T3 Mane Tamer

So I finally got the T3 Mane Tamer and I have to say I was really impressed with this flat iron.  I have very curly, unruly hair that is so hard to manage.  My hair is also long so that makes flat ironing a chore especially if you have to go over sections of hair 2-3 times.  With the Mane Tamer, it straightened my hair in just one pass over each section.  My hair looked soft and shiny after I used it and it still had body so it wasn't totally flat.  This is a huge time saver and definitely worth the high price.  One tip, though, is to use it on dry hair even though it says that it is wet to dry.  I found that if you try to use it on wet or damp hair, you will need to go over sections a few times.
